Where Science Meets Service: My Journey in Football

I’m Denny Shulton, a physiotherapist by profession and a football administrator by experience, but above all, someone who believes in purpose, persistence, and service.

Born and raised in Bekasi, my journey in football began not on the pitch, but behind the scenes; helping players recover, rebuild, and return stronger. With a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from Hasanuddin University and certification from Poltekkes Jakarta 3, I built my path on science, structure, and genuine care.

From my early days with Kalteng Putra and Persita Tangerang, my role expanded beyond treatment rooms, eventually leading me to serve as Secretary of the Indonesian National Football Team (PSSI), managing logistics and coordination for AFF, AFC, and FIFA competitions.

Now, I’ve come full circle; returning to the Medical Physio Sport Centre, PSSI, where it all began. For me, this isn’t a step back, but a reconnection with my roots and purpose. Through every phase, I’ve held onto the same values: discipline, clarity, and compassion.

Football, to me, has never just been a career, it’s a lifelong mission to strengthen the people, the system, and the spirit behind the game that loved by many.
